Dubrovnik’s best loved and most distinguished living artist, known for her brilliantly colourful paintings of local scenes, is Romana Milutin. Discover her art atelier or gallery.
For this former student of Kokoshka, Dubrovnik is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Romana draws the city anbd its harbour scenes with a distinctive palette of vibrant colours that make her work instantly recognisable.

ROMANA MILUTIN FABRIS was born in Dubrovnik in 1941. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Split & in Zagreb. She stuided at the Academy of Applied Arts in Beograd. On an International scholarship of Austrian government, she studied in Salzburg on Sommer Akademie fur Bildende Kunst under the famous master Oskar Kokoschka. Numerous study visits to Austria, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, England, France, North & South America, Japan & USSR followed.
Since 1964 she had more than one houndred one – man exhibitions and has taken part in more than one houndred and fifty group exhibitions in Croatia & abroad.
She is a member of Croatian Association of Artist.
